    Eligibility Criteria For UOR Uniraj

    In today's time, every university has set some criteria for admission in all its courses, on the basis of which the students are given admission, eligibility criteria have been given for the students.

    Eligibility for Undergraduate(UG) courses

    If you want to take admission in any UG courses, then it is very important to follow every criterion set by the university, only then you can get admission for those courses. The eligibility criteria for ug courses are as follows…

    For the admission of Ug courses, compulsory is of 10th and 12th certificate.
    Minimum 12th must have 50% marks.

    The age is the most important, admission is given only till the age prescribed for those courses.

    Eligibility for Postgraduate(PG) courses

    If you want to take admission in any PG courses, then it is very important to follow every criterion set by the university, only then you can get admission for those courses. The eligibility criteria for pg courses are as follows…

    For the admission of pg courses, compulsory is of 10th and 12th certificate.

    Examination Pattern

    There is a different pattern for different programs decided by each university. Candidates can check the detailed exam pattern according to the final year data from below. The exam pattern is different for each ug and pg course.

    for Undergraduate(UG) courses

    Multiple choice questions will be set in the entrance examination for admission to ug courses. Questions will be answered on the OMR sheet by blackening the relevant oval in blue or black ballpoint pens.

    The duration of the entrance examination will be two hours. It will have 100 questions and all will be compulsory, each carrying one mark. There is negative marking in the entrance examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

    for Postgraduate(PG) courses

    For M.Phil course

    Stage 1 Written component of Entrance Test

    The written entrance examination will consist of 100 marks MCQs of two hours duration, based on the PG level syllabus of University. Of these, 50% will be from MCQ Research Methodology and the other 50% will be from related. The time duration of the written test is 2 hours.

    There will be no negative marks. To qualify for the interview, the candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the written component.

    Stage 2 Assessment of analytical-cum-Research Aptitude (Interview)

    Eligible candidates will appear for a written examination (subjective pattern) before the interview by the concerned department DRC.

    The objective is to evaluate the written and analytical skills of the candidate at deciding time on the date of the interview. In the interview with the DRC, apart from the subject, the candidate is also expected to discuss his / her research interest/field before the Department Research Committee.

    The candidate is expected to bring a research proposal of his / her research interest in 2000 words.

    For the Ph.D. course

    Stage 1 Written component of Entrance test

    The written entrance examination will consist of 100 marks MCQs of two hours duration, based on UG and PG level syllabus of University. Of these, 50% will be from MCQ Research Methodology and the other 50% will be from related.

    Examination Centre

    There will be only one examination for all entrance exams of various programs. Candidates are requested to report at the examination center at least one hour before the commencement of the examination.

    Merit list/entrance exams  Result

    The result will be declared after the examination is conducted. It will be declared only on the official website and the candidates will be able to download the results.

    The result will be in the form of a merit list and along with the official website it will also be published on the notice board of the university.

    Counseling

    The counseling process will start after the merit list. No separate notice will be given to the candidates for counseling/admission. Provisional selected candidates will be required to take admission on the day of admission. Extension of entry date is not allowed.

    If the provisionally selected candidate fails to submit the required documents and admission fee on the specified dates of counseling, the claim for admission will be forfeited.

    However, three days' time will be given only for the wait-listed candidates for submission of CLC / TC, provided the candidate presents proof of his / her admission to another university/college.
