Punjab VDS Scheme for Water Connection – Apply Now Voluntary Disclosure Scheme/ Jal Jeevan Mission: The Government of Punjab has notified about the Voluntary Disclosure Scheme (VDS). In this scheme, all the citizens of Punjab are having unapproved water connections in rural areas. The minister of Water Supply and Sanitation, Raziya Sultana has announced this scheme on 15 June 2021.

Voluntary Disclosure Scheme

Razia Sultana, Minister of the Water Supply and Sanitation in Punjab has said about the VDS Yojana will be launched on 15 June 2021 Monday. In this VDS Scheme, the citizens of Punjab will get the connection free of cost Punjab govt notifies Voluntary Disclosure Scheme for unapproved water connection. She said a new Connection can be also applied during this VDS Scheme. During the Survey of VDS Yojana if any connection found approved after the closure of the Voluntary Disclosure Scheme then their connection will be disconnected and the charge will be taken.

This VDS Scheme is launched to give the boost of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Scheme which is launched with the central partnership in Punjab. Razia Sultana Water Minister of Punjab has said about the government is planning to take the Survey of rural areas for comprehensive household Water Connection from July onward. Consumers can apply for the VDS Scheme by dialing this number 1800-103-6999.

How to Apply Online for VDS (Voluntary Disclosure Scheme)

You can apply in the Jal Jivan Mission (JJM) in VDS Scheme in various ways. There onine registration method and offline form application is also available. Look at the below steps-

• First, go to the official Water Supply of Punjab website http://pbdwss.gov.in/
• In the main screen, you can see the Voluntary Disclosure Scheme (VDS) below this click on the “Click here to apply online for VDS”
• New Page will open the name Jal Jivan Mission (JJM) below this you can see the Apply for New Connection click on it.
• Now a form will open enter your details such as-

  • Block
  • Habitation
  • Name
  • Mobile Number

• Now after filling all the details click on the submit button.
